Our firm specializing in Accounting, Tax, and other Compliance services for small to mid-sized businesses & individuals in Canada and the USA.

We are seeking an experienced or enthusiastic staff accountant to join our team and support our clients in Canada and the USA. You can explore more about us at gondaliyacpa.ca

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliations.
• Prepare and file Canadian personal and corporate tax returns (T1, T2), payroll reports, and sales tax forms (GST/HST, PST/QST).
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, perform year-end closings, and handle adjusting journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws, accounting standards, and reporting deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with clients via email, calls, and video meetings, providing clear guidance and issue resolution.
• Monitor internal controls, maintain updated accounting policies, and implement improvements for efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support as needed, and undertake any other related accounting duties.

Required Skills:

• Accounting Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, ProFile/TaxCycle/TaxPrep
• Technical Expertise: Canada Taxation T1, T2, T4, T5, tax returns, Accounting, direct tax, and corporate taxation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Any degree in accounting or related fields.
• Experience: MINIMUM 2+ years of T1, T2, Accounting and Payroll.
