Location: San Leandro, CA Roles & Responsibilities: Design and develop Android applications Perform unit testing Work within an agile development environment Coordinate discussions with clients and offshore teams Generate necessary artifacts and contribute to project management Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in software development, including architecting and designing Android applications 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin and Jetpack 5+ years of mobile solutions engineering experience Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1, or both Strong skills in design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to collaborate across business and technical teams Knowledge of application and web security Understanding of performance analysis and tuning for applications Applications are accepted until 04/28/2025. Salary and Benefits: The annual salary ranges from $81,337 to $114,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
