A Connecticut school district is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their team for the 20252026 academic year. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting students in the RISE program a specialized, self-contained program designed for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder across PreK through 12th grade .
Youll work across multiple school sites, including elementary, middle, and high schools , providing expert behavioral support, guidance, and training to staff and students alike.
Designing and overseeing individualized behavior plans for students in the RISE program
Conducting assessments such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support student growth
Monitoring data and adjusting interventions based on student response
Providing staff coaching and professional development on behavior strategies
Participating in team meetings, including IEPs, to ensure behavior goals align with educational programming
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a valid, active license
Bachelors degree required (Masters preferred)
Prior experience working with students on the autism spectrum is highly valued
Comfortable working in both individual and group settings across various grade levels
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Organized, proactive, and flexible in a dynamic school environment
Caseload is focused on the RISE autism program , supporting students from PreK to 12th grade
Services span across classrooms at multiple school levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
