OVERVIEW

As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the account and functional teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Great ideas and ease of connectivity is a crucial element of this role. Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each client's industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. A nimble and free thinking copywriter who can keep up with the paces of client needs and deliver exceptional quality and ideas no matter what the medium.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS

• Exceptional written communication skills across print and digital media.
• Proven collaboration and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage and meet deadlines.
• Ability to take direction and translate direction into effective copy/concepts.
• Excellent research, analytic and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed fashion.
• Serious familiarity with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Solid understanding of agency process from kickoff to final deliverables.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 - 7 years of advertising, marketing or design agency experience (preferred)
• Portfolio of past print and digital client work (mandatory)
• Agency experience a plus, not mandatory.

ROLE COMPETENCIES

• With a passionate understanding of and commitment to dialing-in strategically aligned big ideas and quality written deliverables, the Copywriter will support the Associate Creative Director (ACD) and Creative Lead
• Collaborate within creative functional team and with other agency functions
• Develop concepts and copy for assigned projects
• Own brand and product messaging for assigned projects
• Ensure that all messaging adheres to client and agency standards
• Other duties as assigned

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

The pay range is $65,000 - $95,000

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
