Correctional Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric to work with our client. In this role, you will provide on-site psychiatric services to the male population at the correctional facility.

Job Duties - Create and implement patient care plans.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing mental health care.
- Perform advanced nursing duties within the boundaries of licensure.
- Conduct routine physical exams.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Offer clinical guidance to lower-level clinical staff.
- Participate in committees and meetings as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and certification by the Ohio Board of Nursing for advanced practice.
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care.
- Healthcare Professional Level BLS/CPR Certification.
- Must satisfy all requirements to maintain licensure.
Note: This position is in a secure correctional facility and may involve exposure to unpredictable behavior from violent inmate patients.
