Doherty Staffing Solutions is excited to welcome a new Digital Marketing Manager into the dynamic Marketing team at our Edina, MN headquarter office. This position is responsible for deploying and managing online programs and technologies to create innovative and creative campaigns in support of our companies' employment-related services, sales, recruitment, branding, and marketing initiatives.

Additionally, the Digital Marketing Manager will manage website optimization strategies, including online advertising, external-facing communication mechanisms, brand reputation/review/feedback mechanisms, and social media channels.

DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates and maintains SEO (search engine optimization), including GEO/AEO/AIO for all company websites. Leads and manages the implementation of all SEO recommendations, tying in social marketing and content strategies to social media, blogs, and other content initiatives.
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end applicant and client experiences across multiple digital channels and touch points via applicable communication tools.
  • Oversees the social media strategy, administers company-based accounts, supervises community manager program, creates ongoing organic posts, oversees content calendar, and builds fan/follower base on various channels/networks. Works to continually increase reach, interaction, activity, and lead generation.
  • Leads online/digital campaign implementations, applies tracking tags, traffics digital ad materials, and prepares timely online/digital media reports (collects and consolidates data) for review.
  • Develops and manages digital marketing campaigns utilizing a variety of advertising technologies and platforms. Provides regular analysis and reporting on websites, pay-per-click ads, and social media performance.
  • Collaborates with external marketing resources, technology contacts, agencies, and other vendor partners to evaluate digital tactics and deliverables to implement new strategies for online promotional efforts.
  • Utilizes corporate brand standards in conjunction with consistent and creative messaging to develop ongoing promotional materials/messages.
  • Extends digital technology knowledge and creative expertise for projects and deliverables to elevate company's internal employee engagement and retention through various HR initiatives.
  • Reviews new technologies and keeps the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing while providing leadership and perspective for adoption, where applicable.
  • Contributes to annual marketing strategy with strong and measurable digital/media marketing plans and performance tracking.
  • Fully supports all Marketing tactics/initiatives, including vendor consulting, graphic design, public relations, ad buying, event marketing, market research, content writing, and other tasks as needed.
  • Develops an understanding of our companies' solutions, recruitment offerings, brands, and marketing initiatives to effectively contribute to marketing planning and deliverables.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field and 5+ years marketing experience.
  • HubSpot certifications for and/or demonstrated knowledge of Marketing Hub, Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, and/or CMS for Marketers
  • Experience working with a dynamic sales team and understanding the demands and pace that accompany bringing on new business.
  • Extensive training or certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Website Content Management, and Search Engine Optimization.
  • Experience successfully managing and building business websites (WordPress/Wix) with web analytics tools (Google, SEMrush, etc.) and web technology implementation.
  • Experience successfully managing social media accounts and digital marketing campaigns (Google, Facebook, etc.).
  • Experience with utilizing LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, M365 Co-pilot, etc.) to optimize performance and project outputs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the various advertising mediums, both traditional and non-traditional, in the greater Minneapolis area.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of email marketing and lead generation through email marketing.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook) skills.
  • Graphic design skills and/or demonstrated creative ability.
