30 Hours per week minimum: PART-TIME ONLY
WEEKDAY & WEEKENDS: Friday 3pm-11pm, Saturday and Sunday 7pm-7am
Salary: Hourly: $15.00

Position: Direct Support Professional PART-TIME $15.00 per hour
Job Description: This position is responsible for the day-to-day needs of residents with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities and duties include the implementation of individual support plans, data collection, good oral and written communication skills; experience in behavior management and individual programming for various levels of individuals who have an intellectual disability. This position will also assist with the implementation of proper medication management procedures and have experience working with a variety of individuals with various support needs. This position must respect residents human rights and treat them with dignity and respect. This position will be supervised by the Chief Executive Officer.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day needs of each resident placed under the license of The Peninsula Community Care Center, LLC. This position requires knowledge of DBHDS Guidelines and Regulations, and the Office of Human Rights Regulations. Additionally other responsibilities and duties include the implementation of individual support plans, data collection, good oral and written communication skills; experience in behavior management and individual programming for various levels of individuals who have an intellectual disability. This position will also assist with the implementation of proper medication management procedures and have experience working with a variety of individuals with various support needs. This position will be supervised by the Chief Executive Officer.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Provide training, supervision and assistance for individual's receiving supports.
Adhere to State licensure, and human rights regulations and guidelines.
Maintain effective quality supports, and appropriate staffing for individual or individual's receiving supports.
Maintain current, accurate, and appropriate individual records and other relevant documentation involving individuals and programming.
Provide the proper behavioral assistance and intervention for individuals.
Treat all individuals receiving supports with dignity and respect at all times.
Provide input regarding the provision of supports for individual's receiving supports.
Transport individual's receiving
Maintain and renew all First Aid and CPR training and other required certifications necessary to carry out program supports.
Maintain an environment that implements quality health and safety management standards to protect the health, safety and welfare of individuals.
Adhere to all Peninsula Community Care Center program policies and procedures
Provide and maintain the safe storage and administration of individual medications
Maintain knowledge of current supports by attending workshops / trainings / conferences
Assist residents with fiscal needs budgeting, baking, paying bills etc
Maintain confidentiality and security of individual support records
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have High School Diploma and 1 year of work experience with individuals who have been diagnosed with an intellectual disability.
Must have Valid operator's driving license
Must have Satisfactory Criminal Records Report and Background Check
TOVA and CPR/First Aid Certification (training provided if needed)
Medication management certification preferable (training provided if needed)
HCBS training
SKILLS IN:
Supervising individuals with a wide variety of support needs
Written, oral, and interpersonal communication
Implementing program supports and with outside agencies, organizations, and professionals
Maintaining professional ethical standards
Satisfactorily complete all required training in First Aid, CPR, Medication Management, Behavioral Management, etc.
