Job Description

This position requires expertise in supporting students with dyslexia across K-12 grade levels. The role is contracted for the current school year and is based in Keller, TX. The professional will work within a K-12 educational environment to provide specialized instruction and interventions tailored to students with dyslexia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to students diagnosed with dyslexia, utilizing specialized teaching methods and resources.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or 504 plans focused on literacy and language development.
• Monitor student progress closely and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with educators, parents, and administration.
• Provide guidance and support to staff on best practices for dyslexia interventions.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with dyslexia in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of dyslexia instructional strategies and interventions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and other educational professionals.
• Familiarity with K-12 educational standards and frameworks.
