We are seeking an Entry-Level Network Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As an Entry-Level Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Conduct regular network audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement security measures
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure the integration of network systems with other technologies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology to make recommendations for improvements
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed
- Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Familiarity with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are a plus but not required
