Overview

Kartoon Studios, an NYSE-listed global leader in children’s and family entertainment, is seeking a visionary  AI Animation Producer to spearhead the company’s transformation into next-generation animation production. This individual will lead the creative and technical integration of cutting-edge AI tools into storytelling pipelines, powering new franchises such as  Stan Lee’s Excelsiors ,  Bitcoin Brigade , and other Kartoon Studios properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative & Technical Leadership: Design, implement, and oversee an AI-driven production pipeline integrating state-of-the-art tools for character animation, lip sync, layout, and post-production.
• Storytelling Vision: Serve as creative showrunner and producer for AI-animated content across the company’s slate, ensuring cinematic quality and emotional storytelling.
• Production Management: Lead teams of animators, engineers, and writers to deliver multiple concurrent series on accelerated timelines and reduced budgets.
• Innovation Strategy: Identify, test, and integrate evolving AItechnologies (e.g., Runway, Pika, Kaiber, Unreal, ElevenLabs, and custom diffusion models) that enhance creative efficiency and global scalability.
• Cross-Brand Coordination: Collaborate with the Stan Lee Universe team, Bitcoin Brigade writers, Mainframe Studios, and Kartoon Channel! to ensure consistency and excellence across all projects.
• Mentorship & Culture: Quickly build and lead a nimble creative unit capable of delivering world-class results within a rapidly changing animation landscape.

Ideal Candidate

• Ideally, has hands-on knowledge of  AI-based animation, 3D pipelines, and generative storytelling tools .
• Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and visionary — equally comfortable in the editing suite and the boardroom.
• Prior experience at an animation studio, VFX house, or tech-creative hybrid environment preferred but not necessary.(e.g., Pixar, Sony Pictures Animation, Mainframe, Wētā, or AI startup).
