We are looking for an experienced Trusts and Estates Tax Accounting Professional which entails the following responsibilities:
* Review and prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), and related filings
* Lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning, and consulting services for a variety of clients
* Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements for trust and estate entities
* Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and opportunities to clients and prospects, including in-person meetings
* Provide guidance and training to junior staff, and collaborate within integrated team to meet client and firm deadlines
* Stay current with changes in fiduciary, tax, and estate law, and participate in ongoing professional development
* Proactive approach to process improvement and regulatory changes

Candidates should meet the following criteria:
* 5+ years of specialized experience in trust and estate tax
* CPA strongly preferred
* Self-motivated
* High ethical standards and integrity
* Client-focused mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Work well in a team environment
* Excellent communication skills

We provide top quality accounting and auditing, tax, and consulting services to private companies in a variety of industries. We're dedicated to professional excellence, integrity, and community service. This position will manage clients and staff and will work within a number of niches including Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Individual/Estate/Gift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
