Job Title: Functional Tester

Location: Chicago, Illinois ( On site)

Duration : 6 month

English-Spanish a MUST

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Test Lead within the Testing Center of Excellence, focused on delivering quality software for Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to verify code and ensure system requirements are met.
• Identify, create, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, including test data management across environments.
• Execute functional and integration tests, document results, and track status using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Proactively identify functional, technical, and integration defects, perform preliminary troubleshooting, and document findings.
• Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks effectively with team leads and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile project delivery, leveraging experience in retail domain and functional testing.
• Apply strong analytical, interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills to support team objectives and problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Over 7 years of experience in software testing, including 2+ years of hands-on experience in Point of Sale (POS) testing .
• Strong expertise in functional testing methodologies and the ability to work effectively in multilingual environments.
• Spanish and English fluency is required.
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and capable of identifying issues that impact end-user experience.
• Experience supporting diverse teams and navigating complex testing scenarios is a plus.
