Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to enhance the golf experience and drive revenue growth
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the golf course, including tee time reservations, player services, and golf shop management
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of golf professionals and staff to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Develop and implement golf instructional programs, clinics, and tournaments to attract and engage golfers
  • Foster positive relationships with members, guests, and local golf organizations
  • Manage golf course maintenance and collaborate with groundskeeping staff to ensure course conditions meet high standards
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the golf experience

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Sports Management, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in golf operations management, preferably in a resort setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of golf operations, rules, and etiquette
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and manage budgets effectively
  • PGA or equivalent professional certification is preferred
  • Proficiency in golf management software and Microsoft Office Suite
