Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Healthcare Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ Employment Type: Contract Location: Hybrid (1 day in the office - Thursday) - Phoenix, AZ 85021 Pay rate: $60-$65/hr Responsibilities: Plan, direct, and manage projects to meet defined objectives within time and budget constraints. Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and document status reports. Engage and collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to align on project deliverables. Manage projects from initiation to completion, or take over projects mid-flight to course-correct as needed. Track progress using project management tools like MS Project, Gantt charts, RAID logs, and SharePoint. Deliver presentations and status updates to leadership at various levels. Apply PM methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile to ensure timely, quality outcomes. Contribute to PMO process improvements and organizational best practices. Mentor and guide junior team members when applicable. Requirements: 4-6 years of PM experience in the healthcare industry. High School Diploma or GED.. Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong experience with MS Project Application, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint. Collaboration, creating buy-in, driving for results, decision-making, identifying and mitigating risks, and professional presence. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation. Budgeting and financial management experience. Adaptability and perseverance in dynamic environments. Nice to have: Master's Degree in Business or Information Systems. PMP, Agile Practitioner, Lean Enterprise, or Six Sigma. Experience with enterprise-wide projects and the healthcare or insurance industries.
