CN Tommell LLC is looking for an experienced heavy truck and trailer mechanic to repair and maintain our truck fleet along with our farm equipment at our Voorheesville location. CN Tommell LLC has been in business for over 30 years - we have developed wonderful relationships with our employees and customers over the years. We are growing and need an experienced heavy truck and trailer mechanic who is interested in a long-term career with a diversified company. We have over 20 trucks on the road along with a farming operation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Our diesel mechanics will diagnose and perform repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with DOT standards on both our tractors, trailers and farm equipment. Other duties will include maintaining shop parts, ordering and inventory control, tire repairs/changes, as well as electrical repairs.
Maintain a safe, clean, and productive and efficient work area.
The ideal candidate will be able to solve problems and be flexible to the ever-changing environment.
This is an 8-hour shift/40 hour per week position with potential for overtime. Pay commensurate with experience $25-40/hr.
