Description Laboratory Assistant Performs routine collection procedures, assists technologists and technicians in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Histology. Processes laboratory specimens. Coordinates and performs clerical/reception, client/patient/customer related duties pertaining to laboratory testing and relays information between the laboratory, other hospital areas and clients. Please note the following important details regarding this position: This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below: Texas: Plainview Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements. Flexible and available to work on a variable shift which may include days, evenings, or nights shifts. Work Status Available: Per Diem / On Call Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies. Shifts Available: Variable Shifts Hours: Variable shift to include day shift, evening shift, night shift and weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
