This Lead LPN position is based in our Cobb Pediatric & Adolescent Center in Austell.

The Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the RN Supervisor who typically oversees multiple locations, in which the Lead LPN serves as the lead clinical resource in the onsite absence of the RN Supervisor.

The LPN Lead will uphold clinical standards under the guidance of the RN Supervisor and the Clinical Services department. Will promote clinical competency as well as maintain clinical quality control through leading and supporting survey readiness efforts as it relates to back office clinical operations

Required Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
  • 1 year of Pediatric experience is required and a minimum of 1 year of experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting is required.

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:

  • Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date
