Hey there! We’re a fast-paced tech company shaking up the e-commerce world. Our cutting-edge platform enables entrepreneurs to launch their own branded product lines in just minutes. We’re scaling our operations and seeking a Lead Print Operator to oversee our in-house print production in order to help us realize our vision of enabling entrepreneurs around the world to launch their own brand. This full time role will be in person at our production studio and warehouse. We’re preparing to launch an exciting new part of our business that hasn’t been announced yet, so we’re keeping things under wraps and hiring quietly for this role. We are looking for an eager, creative, and detail-oriented printing guru to join our amazing company. You will be part of a growing production team that produces our stunning custom-branded products in-house. As our Lead Print Operator with a good understanding of graphic design, you will be a key part of our daily operations by overseeing our print team. You and the team will operate and maintain our commercial printers to produce high quality products.

The main objective of this role is to organize and execute the print queue orders as part of a team of printer operators making sure orders are on schedule and meet our high-quality standards. In addition, you will oversee the pre-press artists ensuring they effectively prepare design files to produce custom-branded products with our state-of-the-art printers, carefully following prescribed procedures and processes. In this innovative and exciting role you will get to learn more about digital print processes and flex your creative muscles in addition to seeing the fruits of your labour come to life as you print. You’ll also contribute ideas for process improvements, refine SOPs, and contribute to special projects that boost efficiency. YOU’RE EXCITED ABOUT THE ROLE BECAUSE…

  • You will maintain the highest level of quality in your work from digital to print and in between
  • You will oversee and execute in-house print production orders to make sure they are on schedule and up to our high-quality standards
  • You will carefully process print orders, keep detailed records, and troubleshoot files, systems, and equipment as needed
  • You will execute routine printer cleaning and maintenance during your shifts
  • You will learn to find efficiencies in our production processes
  • You will apply knowledge and experience to process technically difficult files or issues during the printing process and help troubleshoot those to find effective solutions
  • You will oversee print supply inventory and reordering for printing materials
  • You will coordinate the production team’s schedules and ensure everyone upholds the highest standards
  • You will provide outstanding work you will be proud of

  • You are experienced in the key programs within the Adobe Creative Suite with a minimum of InDesign and Illustrator
  • You have the ability to work both independently with guidance from your manager and collaboratively with teams as needed

EXPERIENCE:

  • Printing: 1 year (required)
  • Graphic design: 1 year (required)
