Shift Available: Full Time (36 hours/week) 9a- 9p
OU Health is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma center providing care by a comprehensive variety of surgical specialties to include orthopedic, transplant, cardiovascular/thoracic, plastics, gynecology, oncology, etc. Nurses in our unit are the bridge between our patients and the perioperative team. As an outpatient surgery nurse you will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulators, and other members of the surgical team to provide a safe, pleasant, and successful care experience for our patients.

RN I represents the nurse who is a novice or an advanced beginner advancing to competent. While advancing from novice to competent, the nurse relies on rules rather than principles which are independent of specific situations. The advanced beginner may have enough real experience to begin to formulate principles.

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
License/Certification/Registration:

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
