Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dedicated clinical team. The Therapist will provide individual and group counseling, facilitate treatment planning, and ensure high-quality care in compliance with OASAS and OMH standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about recovery-oriented care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders
Conduct intake assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans
Document clinical services in our EMR system (IMA) in a timely, compliant manner
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical providers, case managers, and peers
Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training to ensure best practices
Support patients with discharge planning and referrals to community resources
Qualifications
Required: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State
Experience working with individuals with SUD, co-occurring disorders, or in outpatient treatment settings preferred
Strong clinical documentation and time management skills
Commitment to culturally competent, person-centered care
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)
