Job Title: Mail Clerk

Location: Sacramento CA 95834 (Onsite)
Duration: 06 Months (Temp to Perm)

Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Client is seeking a Senior On-Site Services Specialist for a 6-month contract starting immediately. This role involves operating high-volume duplicating and document imaging equipment, managing mail operations, performing quality control, and providing general site support including light maintenance and meeting room setup.



Responsibilities

• Operate high-volume copiers, document imaging systems, and related software.
• Sort, prep, deliver, and pick up mail internally and from docks.
• Scan, index, enter data, perform quality control, and handle document destruction.
• Process mail through postage meter and calculate job charges.
• Maintain equipment, clear jams, perform minor repairs, and keep areas neat and stocked.
• Generate reports and maintain logs for digital printing, imaging, mail systems, and supplies.
• Perform filing duties including purging and archiving documents.
• Provide light building support: meeting room setup, re-lamping, cleaning, and occupant moves.
• Travel between customer buildings as needed; may require overtime including nights/weekends.
• Use bindery and mailing equipment including paper cutter, hole driller, shrink-wrap, staplers, scales, postage meter, and fax machine.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 1-2 years relevant experience, preferably with mailroom and copy job experience.
• Experience with mail sorting, prepping, delivery, scanning, data entry, destruction, and quality control.
• Strong customer service, organizational, mathematical, and PC skills (MS Office, email, document management).
• Ability to operate office machines, bindery, and technical equipment.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 50-55 lbs., stand and walk for long periods, and push/pull equipment up to 700 lbs.
• Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination for equipment operation.
