Mathnasium is a FUN and UPBEAT Math-only Learning Center in Newton, West Newton, Needham, Wellesley, Walpole, Brookline, and Belmont We have several openings for In-Person math tutors who would like to help kids in a fun and upbeat environment. This job starts in September 2024

No official tutoring experience needed but ...

1. Must be strong in math through Algebra 1 .

2. Must enjoy working with kids (1st-8th grade).

3. An SAT Math score 700+ or ACT equivalent.

4. Must be open to learning new ways of teaching math and working with children.

5. Must be in 11th grade or older.

Your Role:

You'll be working with students grades 1-8, explaining math. All worksheets and lesson plans are prepared by center directors and prepared for you.

Working Hours:

Flexible Hours - You choose when you work: 2, 3, or 4 shifts/week

Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu : 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Fri : 3:00 pm - 6pm (Needham, and Wellesley)
Sat, Sun: 10am - 2pm (Only Newton, Wellesley, Fresh Pond, and Brookline Center)

THIS JOB STARTS IN SEPTEMBER 2024

Compensation: $0.17 - $0.20 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center.
