Quick Claimers Medical Billing, Inc. is an established medical billing company based in El Paso, TX serving healthcare providers in the region since 1999. We provide expert medical billing and practice management services designed to streamline operations and maximize revenue.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our healthcare team. This position is responsible for accurate medical claims processing, insurance verification, and payment posting while ensuring maximum reimbursement through proper billing practices.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Submit clean claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Process and post payments from insurance companies and patients
- Review and appeal denied claims
- Monitor accounts receivable and work aging reports
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations and coding guidelines
- Handle patient billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation
- Manages time to complete work in a timely manner and be a team player
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation
Required Skills/Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent, Associate degree preferred
-Medical Billing Certification (CPC, CBCS, or similar) preferred
-2+ years’ experience in full medical billing experience
-Prior experience in healthcare collections preferred
-Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
-Proficiency in medical billing software and EMR systems
-Understanding of insurance guidelines and regulations
-Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance billing
-Knowledge of speciality-specific billing requirements preferred
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-Strong written and verbal communication abilities
-Knowledge and proficiency with complete billing cycle procedures and protocols
- Hands-on experience using medical billing software applications
- Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding
-Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office
