Join Our Growing Ophthalmology Team as an Ophthalmic Assistant!
Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a skilled professional to join our friendly and dedicated team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and eager to grow in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have some exposure to ophthalmology assisting and have the ability and willingness to assist with surgical scheduling as needed.
Your Impact:
• Elevate patient care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
• Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
• Manage surgical scheduling: Work with patients and providers
• Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
• Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
What You'll Bring/Requirements:
• A passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience as an Ophthalmic Tester or Ophthalmic assisting
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and surgical scheduling
• Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Hours: up to 40 hours per week
