Express Employment is looking for a Powder Coating operator. This position is Temporary with a possibility of it being long term and ongoing. 

Pay: $17/Hour

Work Location: Chico, CA

Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 2:30pm (Friday as needed)

Job Duties:  

• Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems. Inspects painted units for runs, debris, sags, and un-coated areas. Coated parts must be uniform in mil thickness and conform to specified color. Place coated work pieces in ovens for specified times in order to dry or harden finishes. Clean booth between color change to prevent cross contamination. Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
• Flex between painting, masking, inspecting, and packaging. Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures. Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application.
• Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
• The operator must be able to work in a limited space for several hours at a time. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. repetitively and stand for long periods of time. Must pass spirometry test.
• Other duties as assigned.
