Position Summary: The Regional Nurse Educator will serve as a key resource in providing clinical education and training to healthcare professionals within a designated geographic region. This role is essential for fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers and supporting the successful integration and utilization of the companys therapies. The Nurse Educator will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, medical affairs, and commercial operations teams to deliver educational programs, workshops, and one-on-one sessions, ensuring that healthcare providers have a comprehensive understanding of the drugs clinical application and benefits. The ideal candidate will be an experienced registered nurse with a passion for education, a deep understanding of clinical practice, and a strong interest in biotech innovations.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: These may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide on-label education to non-physician healthcare providers and healthcare professionals to support the treatment of patients and support the safe and effective use of Crinetics products.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the various customer segments and environments.
  • Apply role-specific knowledge to engage in clinical discussions around product and disease state content, terminology, and concepts with customers.
  • Deliver engaging education that meet the needs of the individual account.
  • Develop educational account plans with clear objectives, actions, responsibilities, timelines, and resources.
  • Partner with sales to utilize data and cross-functional insights to determine engagement plan and territory management.
  • Provide clinical and nursing insights to Marketing and Sales Training as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance by strictly following all Crinetics policies governing the promotion of pharmaceutical products in the US.
  • Demonstrate deep insight into customer, geographical, and healthcare industry challenges.

Education and Experience: Required:

  • Bachelors degree in nursing is required.
  • 8+ years of experience as an RN.
  • Active RN license is required.
  • Competent in account/territory management.
  • Proficient knowledge in endocrinology and ability to quickly learn disease state and product knowledge.
  • Strong relationship and partnership building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to satisfy any onsite visitation requirements of healthcare facilities, including but not limited to vaccinations, drug screens, and background checks.
  • Valid drivers license.

Preferred:

  • Advanced Practice Provider (MSN, NP, PA, DNP) degree preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this job. Laboratory Activities (if applicable): Biology and chemical laboratory environment experience needed. Environmental health and safety requirements also apply.

Travel: You may be required to travel for up to 60% of your time.

The salary range for this position is: $136,000 - $170,000. In addition to your base pay, our total rewards program consists of a discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, and 401k match.
