Role Overview

Due to continued growth in our operations we're seeking expressions of interest from experienced multi discipline Rope Access Technicians Level III who are driven, safety focused and looking to make an impact in the offshore oil and gas industry.


If successful you would be part of a core team commencing in December 2026 for a multi-year opportunity working in the Gulf Coast of America. The working roster would be a 14 days on 14 days off, with 12 hour shifts.

  • The Level III Rope Access Technician actively leads field and offshore operations alongside fellow rope access technicians. Encompasses safety management, work site organization, and supervisory responsibilities, providing leadership to work crews on various projects.
  • Oversees and executes rope access operations, including inspection, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Conduct pre-use inspections of personal and job-specific rope access equipment
  • Develop Rope Access method statements and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), including rescue plans, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Have experience working alongside multi discipline trades such as Insulation, Painting/Blasting, Fireproofing and Scaffolding
  • Responsible for job documentation, equipment tracking, and daily reports
  • Responsible for scheduled equipment inspections per IRATA standards
  • Oversee and participate in drills, training, and emergency response activities
  • Working knowledge of rope access safety systems and fall protection principles including correct anchor selection and limitations
  • Be a leader for safety, report and document unsafe conditions or equipment concerns
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • IRATA Level III certification required (current and verifiable IRATA logbook)
  • Minimum 3 years or 2000 hours Rope Access field experience performed under IRATA certification
  • Hold a Valid TWIC and HUET/THUET
  • Hold a SafeGulf or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License, background screening required
  • Undergo pre employment physical exam, drug & alcohol screening
  • Must be able to travel and work offshore
  • Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime as needed
Physical Demands
  • Work is primarily performed on an offshore facility, exposed to outdoor elements and varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces or elevated areas depending on the work scope and offshore platform
  • Physical labor may be required, frequent bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling including the ability to lift, carry and move equipment or materials. Furthermore operating heavy machinery and hand or power tools
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times for safety as per required standards
  • Must be able to meet all physical requirements
