Job Description

A full-time Counseloring position is available for the upcoming school year in Clifton Park, NY, serving K-12 students in a contract role. This opportunity focuses on Career and Technical Education (CTE) within an adult programming context, providing career goal consultations and assisting with CTE development initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting career goal consultations with students to support their academic and vocational planning.
• Developing and coordinating CTE programs to meet student and community needs.
• Collaborating with staff to integrate SPED and counseling services effectively within CTE frameworks.
• Providing guidance and support to students to promote educational and career success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) settings.
• Valid New York State certification as a School or Guidance Counselor.
• Experience working with special education populations (SPED) is preferred.
