Job Description:
\nAs a School Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:
Conducting speech and language assessments for students with various communication disorders.
\n\t\n\tDeveloping and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
\n\t\n\tCollaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective support for students.
\n\t\n\tProviding direct speech and language therapy services, both in groups and one-on-one.
\n\t\n\tMonitoring and tracking student progress and adjusting therapy as needed.
\n\t\n\tParticipating in meetings to discuss student progress and provide updates on treatment plans.
\n\t\n\tCreating and maintaining detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
\n\t\nEducation and Certification Requirements:
\n\nMaster’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
\n\t\n\tCurrent State of Texas Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
\n\t\n\tCertification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
\n\t\n\tPrior experience in a school or educational setting is a plus.
\n\t\n\tAbility to work effectively with children, families, and school staff.
\n\t\n\tExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
