Job Description

Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.

As the Senior DAM Manager, you will serve as the platform owner and strategic lead for the organization’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) ecosystem. You’ll manage vendor relationships, oversee roadmap development, and ensure that metadata, taxonomy, and governance systems evolve in alignment with organizational goals. Your work ensures that digital assets are accessible, compliant, and scalable across teams and platforms.

How You Will Contribute
  • Own and manage the DAM backlog, prioritizing enhancement requests, release notes, and feature roadmaps.
  • Coordinate vendor meetings and lead quarterly roadmap syncs to ensure continuous platform improvement.
  • Develop and publish controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, and metadata schemas for organizational projects.
  • Maintain detailed versioned documentation of metadata structures, workflows, and change logs.
  • Partner with cross-functional leads and change management teams to ensure system rollouts are adopted effectively.
  • Create and deliver persona-based onboarding and training programs with measurable adoption goals.
  • Establish governance councils and policy frameworks that ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in content ingestion, taxonomy management, and asset distribution.
  • Report quarterly on DAM performance metrics such as ingest-to-publish cycle time, error rates, and adoption trends.
What You Will Bring
  • Proven experience managing digital asset management systems and metadata taxonomies.
  • Strong background in documentation, governance, and system design.
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a process-improvement mindset.
  • Familiarity with Acquia Assets, iconik, LucidLink, or comparable systems.
What We Offer
  • Competitive benefits: Enjoy a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, flexible time off, comprehensive health and dental plans, plus wellness and mental health support through Peloton and Talkspace.
  • A meaningful career: Join a passionate community of over 1,300 employees dedicated to improving lives and driving innovative solutions to complex social challenges.
  • Commitment to growth: Thrive in a non-hierarchical environment that empowers employees to discover, develop and apply their unique talents.
  • Competitive compensation: Our approach rewards the value you create through competitive salaries and bonus opportunities, allowing you to share in the success you help drive.

Our Values: Working at Stand Together is different from many other organizations. Our culture is deeply rooted in Principle Based Management® (PBM®), a framework guided by the principles that drive human progress, such as dignity, openness, and bottom-up empowerment. PBM® empowers our employees to be entrepreneurial, to innovate, and to continually drive transformation.

We believe diversity fuels creativity, broadens knowledge, and helps drive success, and that is why we’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and strive to treat all employees and applicants with honesty, dignity, respect and sensitivity.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
