Direct message the job poster from KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting Recruiting Manager specializing in Corporate Finance & Accounting A prominent entertainment and services organization located in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team. The incoming Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the organization’s annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, leveraging Adaptive Insights and collaborating across departments. This position will report to the Director of FP&A and will require three days in office per week. Key Responsibilities Support the organization’s annual operating budget process, working closely with department leaders to develop accurate and timely financial plans. Drive monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles by analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights. Prepare and present regular variance analyses and ad hoc financial reports to senior leadership. Maintain and enhance financial models within Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights). Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and integration of actuals into planning systems. Partner cross-functionally with program and operational teams to support data-driven decision-making. Assist with scenario modeling, long-range planning, and special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 3–6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or FP&A roles. Proficiency with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights) is required. Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with large-scale financial systems is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights. Experience working in or with nonprofit organizations is a plus but not required.
