Description & Qualifications

Description

You’ll be working in an agile environment as a full-stack engineer to create and improve our product for our customers. You’ll partner closely with the other software and quality engineers on your team, and with the product managers, analysts, and architects who bring requirements to the table.
• Design and implement new features to extend our product’s functionality
• Mentor and guide teammates to improve their technical and non-technical skills
• Lead by example as a high-level individual contributor
• Collaborate with teammates to tackle technical challenges
• Communicate effectively in person and virtually
• Passionately drive product quality, and push for modernization
• Foster a culture of delivering quality software in a timely manner and continuously improve the development process
• This will be a hybrid role going into the office 3 days/week

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Comfortable working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB or ElasticSearch)
• Professional experience with Python software development and architecture
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon AWS, etc.
• Contributed to and supported products with customers in production
• Experience working with Rest APIs

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong background in the fundamentals of programming concepts, design patterns, OOP, BDD, TDD
• Experience mentoring and guiding engineers
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Written and implemented automated unit, integration, and system tests
