Job Responsibilities An interpreter’s responsibility is to convey thoughts and intentions accurately into a target language, maintaining cultural competence and message integrity. Key traits include: Quickly grasp spoken phrases and express messages concisely while preserving intent. Provide on-site and remote interpreting (phone and video). Communicate professionally during interpreting sessions. Maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA. Requirements Native fluency in English and Spanish. Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills. Experience with medical terminology. Promptly submit administrative and timekeeping tasks. Ability to travel within designated regions. Valid CA driver’s license and auto insurance. Availability during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with flexibility. Successful completion of screening assessments, background, and drug tests; verification of work authorization.
