Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct usability reviews of web applications, ensuring ease of use for Selerix’s clients. The Senior User Experience Designer advises on content architecture and informational design and translates complex user requirements into coherent user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with planners, strategists, and researchers to conduct interviews, competitive research, and strategic analysis to support projects.
Collaborate with clients to understand business goals and design solutions that enable them to meet those goals.
Identify key ideas that will improve products or program features.
Create deliverables such as prototypes, proof-of-concept documents, wireframes, user flows, use cases, user scenarios, user interfaces, and visual designs.
Deliver appropriate materials for development use.
Launch useful, usable, and enjoyable interactive experiences for users.
Stay current with industry developments, trends, and new technologies.
Aid in skill development of other design staff members.
Adhere to corporate style, code, and design guidelines.
Provide regular updates on project status and enhancements.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of health benefit plans, including employer-sponsored and voluntary plans, and insurance products such as Disability, Life, COBRA, and the Affordable Care Act.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts concurrently.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Selerix (a plus), CRM systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
