Base pay range

$33.00/hr - $36.00/hr

12+ month contract. Likely to extend/option to hire.

Client: A major global food corporation and leader in their industry with annual revenue over $100B and employing over 250,000.

Overview:

This role will support the logistics supervisor. Develop core understandings of transportation management and SAP software to enhance a pilot plant facility. Ensure appropriate raw material ordering and receiving, and schedule trials in a timely manner.

Role:

• Support logistics supervisor on a daily basis with ordering of raw materials.
• Work with product development staff to schedule pilot plant trials.
• Ensure the pilot plant resources are available to execute the schedule.
• Follow and uphold all food safety, food quality, occupational safety, health, and environment policies and procedures in responsibility.
• Verify company standards for pricing are followed while creating purchase orders.

Qualifications:

• 3 7+ years of experience in a warehouse or food manufacturing environment.
• Experience in coordinating logistics and ordering of raw materials in a food manufacturing environment.
• SAP and transportation management software experience is a plus.
• Experience in a pilot plant environment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Skilled in use of Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational & planning skills.
