Location: UCHealth Parkview Medical Center, US:CO:Pueblo Department: Surgical Technologist
FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days - Monday- Thursday 0630-1700 no call no weekends
Pay: $44.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend
LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles
13 week assignments available - extension options
Minimum Requirements: - Graduated from a Surgical Technologist program.
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
- 1-year experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
At UCHealth, We Improve Lives Responsibilities: - Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
- Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
- Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
- Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action
