Overview:

Join a leading healthcare facility dedicated to providing high-quality patient care! We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse to work in our fast-paced emergency department, which serves a diverse community and is known for teamwork and excellence in service.

About the Facility:

With a commitment to positive impact, the facility excels in various clinical settings, including:

• Level II Trauma Center


• Comprehensive Stroke Center


• High volume Emergency Department with 100,000 visits annually

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 101


• Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically; up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds


• Staffing: Techs available for cardiac monitoring, triage, and clerical support


• Documentation System: Cerner


• Dress Code: Navy scrubs

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ER setting.


• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.


• Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback.


• Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department.

Certifications Required:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)


• BLS (Basic Life Support)


• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)


• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)


• CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention)


• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)


• ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) within 90 days of hire
