AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Home Health Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Orange County, Florida.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 39 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Position Details:

• Full-Time Schedule: 30 visits/week (adjusted for SOC/OASIS documentation time)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Mileage Reimbursement: \$0.70/mile between patient homes
• Population Served: Geriatric only –  no pediatric cases
• Caseload: Established and steady patient volume

Scheduling & Coverage:

• Daily schedules finalized by 5 PM the day prior
• Clinicians contact patients directly to set appointment times
• Schedulers available to assist with EMR updates
• Brevard County coverage includes the entire county, split by days (e.g., North on Mon/Wed, South on other days)

Preferred Workweek:

• Saturday availability is highly preferred , especially for orthopedic visits
• Ideal schedule:  Tuesday–Saturday (flexible)

EMR Systems:

• Primary EMR: Pariox – used to manage the full schedule across agencies
• Agency EMRs: Kantime, Kinnser (WellSky), Axxess, Homecare Homebase
• Clinicians document in the EMR system used by each agency

Team Structure:

• OTs focus on  SOC, Evaluations, Reassessments, and Discharges
• PTAs handle routine visits when possible
• Virtual orientation and training available – most staff work remotely

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of Home Health experience
• Comfortable working with multiple agencies and EMR systems
