\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work Monday through Friday with shift options of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
\n• No call requirements
\n• Required dress code: Black scrubs
\n• Must be ARRT Board registered in Radiology Technologist and Mammography Technologist
\n• Registered Mammographer with experience in 3D Tomosynthesis training required
\n• Preferred experience with Hologic Mammography equipment and Epic
\n• Perform correlative breast examinations and document scars, moles and pertinent findings
\n• Provide individualized breast self-examination instruction to patients
\n• Identify all patients properly using two patient identifiers and utilize universal protocol when performing procedures
\n• Review patient history and assess physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols
\n• Document patient history in electronic record as required
\n• Demonstrate strong skills with radioactive material safety
\n• Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner including proper application of breast compression, positioning and various special mammography views
\n• Prepare patients for mammography procedures and ensure physical safety and comfort
\n• Communicate instructions clearly and explain procedures to help alleviate patient fears
\n• Perform equipment quality control procedures utilizing radioactive sources and evaluate results to ensure equipment performance meets acceptable standards
\n• Parking available in front or back of office or in staff parking lot depending on location
