Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Certified Veterinary Practice Manager at our TCV Bellaire location! This role supports our doctors and staff, ensures exceptional client service, and manages the business functions that keep our practice running smoothly. We foster a warm, fun, welcoming culture for our team and clients. The successful candidate will inspire and grow a team of veterinary professionals and support staff to ensure the practice delivers exceptional operational and quality standards while delivering the highest level of customer service to clients and their pets. Licensed Veterinary Technician is highly desired but not required. Responsibilities include but not limited to Overseeing daily clinic operations and client service care throughout the cycle of service. Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to increase team safety, efficiency and productivity. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills and problem-solving skills Must clearly communicate with a wide range of people, such as staff members, clients, and potential partners or sponsors. Managing the recruitment, hiring, on-boarding and training of new staff members. Leading, training, and developing team members in a positive way, creating staff schedules and training new hires, as well as conducting quarterly reviews of team members. Managing Inventory of medical supplies, office supplies, and consumables, including weekly supply order, weekly Cat. A and monthly overall count/reconciliation reporting. Surgical experience is required. We perform routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry. Veterinary business acumen is required. Must analyze and interpret weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual KPI reports and profit/loss statements and use this data to develop plans for resource allocation, expenditure control and budgeting strategy to present to Medical Director and CEO. Maintain financial records, organize daily invoice payments, accounts receivable, End-of-Day financial reconciliation (cash and merchant services) and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Selected candidate will be motivated to drive new business through networking/building good PR with local businesses and organizations; targeted monthly marketing initiatives; coordinating clinic participation in community events to promote the practice (quarterly) and support existing business with exceptional service while exemplifying TCV Core Values at all times: Kindness. Accountability. Integrity. Respect. Optimism. We are looking for associates that can demonstrate initiative, cooperativeness and flexibility, as well as warm, friendly client service. Must have open availability. 5+ years of experience in a veterinary practice setting preferred with 3+ years veterinary medical management experience required. Must be able to supervise and organize essential records and documentation. Experience with veterinary practice software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation CVPM (Required) Experience using Avimark-Practice Management Software a plus!!! Our business is closed on Sunday's and major holidays.
