About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Sales to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a proven leader with a strong background in radio advertising sales, both terrestrial and digital. This role is pivotal in driving revenue and supporting the growth of local businesses. The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading and inspiring a high-performing team, negotiating deals, and developing innovative sales strategies. A key aspect of the role is to build and support a strong team of account managers and digital account executives, as well as to actively participate in business and community associations to foster relationships with local influencers and decision-makers. Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of three years of sales management experience, with a focus on strategic account management, sales training, and leadership. The role requires a deep understanding of broadcast media, marketing, and sales principles, as well as the ability to coach, collaborate, and manage a team effectively. The ideal candidate will have a background in the broadcast industry, be adept at inventory management, and have experience in digital media and non-spot/event revenue development. A valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance are also necessary.
