Job Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support, recommendations, and guidance across Agile teams as a Jira SME and Agile expert, including leadership, training, and support.
• Educate team members on optimizing Agile processes using Jira.
• Assess and calibrate the teams Agile fluency, supporting work mobilization activities like roadmap development and functional decomposition.
• Aim to elevate Agile teams to a level where ongoing guidance from the Coach is no longer necessary.
• Lead the rollout and expansion of Jira across the enterprise.
• Transition legacy processes to Jira-based Agile processes.
• Develop and implement best practices and training methods for enterprise Agile/Jira adoption.
• Support sprint-based and Kanban projects.
• Provide comprehensive expertise in leading-edge Agile theories and techniques.
• Focus on coaching leadership and supporting Scrum Masters and Agile teams.
• Guide and oversee multiple teams to grow organizational capability.
• Interpret obstacles and recommend best practices in Agile implementation.
• Assist Scrum Masters in resolving problems and identifying solutions.
• Advise teams on transitioning to scaled delivery environments.
• Coach and lead teams to drive Agile adoption.
• Report to Practice Area Lead or Practice Lead, contributing to specific Agile journeys or platforms.
• Participate actively as an Agile team member, fostering a positive work environment, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
• Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge for Agile execution and capability building.
• Stay current with emerging trends and grow knowledge of business and Agile tools/techniques.
• Engage in personal development activities, including cross-training.
• Keep others informed about work progress and relevant information.
• Mentor others, share knowledge, and leverage best practices to develop team skills.
• Build productive relationships with internal and external Agile teams.
• Support a diverse, fair, and positive work environment.
• Act as a brand ambassador internally and externally.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Expert in Jira configuration, administration, and reporting.
• Certified Scrum Master and/or scaled Agile Framework (e.g., SAFe) certification with 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
• Deep knowledge of Agile theories, methodologies, scaling techniques, and practices.
• Ability to set goals supporting delivery for multiple teams and advise leadership.
• Proven ability to plan, execute, and evaluate work activities.
• Strong mentoring, performance management, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Awareness of current market trends in Agile and related tools.

Education

• Post-secondary education typically required.
