**Job Title:** Behavior Technician/Case Manager
**Job Overview:**
As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will involve implementing behavior intervention plans to help clients improve their social, communication, and daily living skills.
**Responsibilities:**
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of BHP
- Provide one-on-one behavior therapy sessions with clients
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist clients in developing and enhancing their social and communication skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Conduct functional assessments and analyze data to make informed decisions
- Support clients in crisis situations using appropriate techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client sessions and progress
- Follow medical terminology and procedures related to behavioral health interventions
**Requirements:**
- Experience in addiction counseling or working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles
- Proficiency in crisis management and de-escalation techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
- Competency in maintaining medical records
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a behavioral health setting
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
