POSITION : Box Truck Delivery Driver

No CDL Required

LOCATION: Anchorage, AK

SCHEDULE: Full-Time

PAY: $18-$20.00/Hr. DOE

START DATE: ASAP

Position Summary :

Primary functions of this position are delivery of local freight and building materials using box trucks. (Box trucks require a standard driver's license.) Handling of freight, unloading and loading at destinations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Efficient and safe pick-up and delivery of local freight.
  

• Load and unload vehicles, containers as needed.
  

• Move freight within yard or warehouse using forklift or other equipment as needed.
  

• Process all paperwork related to freight.
  

• Inspect and maintain vehicles such as gas, oil, coolant, tires, lights and brakes to ensure proper working condition; perform minor vehicle maintenance, emergency repairs and cleaning.

Preferred requirements

• Driver's license.
  
• DOT Med card.
  
• Clean driving record.
  
• Drug screen and background check.
  
• Will be required (with assistance) to obtain DOT medical clearance.
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
