We are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable Cable Technician to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of cable systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to industry standards. This position offers the opportunity to work in diverse environments, requiring precision and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:
• Install, test, and troubleshoot voice, data, and video cabling systems to ensure functionality and compliance with standards.
• Pull, route, and terminate cables in both new and pre-existing construction projects.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on cable infrastructures to maintain performance.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and drawings to execute precise installations.
• Ensure all work meets industry regulations and safety protocols.
• Accurately document completed tasks, including cable routes and testing outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide excellent customer service.
• Work confidently in confined spaces and at heights as required by project conditions.• Proven experience with network cabling, including coaxial, fiber optic, and Ethernet systems.
• Proficiency in cable installation techniques and low voltage cabling.
• Strong knowledge of fiber-optic technology and related tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to following industry safety standards and protocols.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
