Job Description Mercedes Benz of Silver Spring is immediately hiring a high-energy automotive enthusiast who is looking to build a career in the automotive industry.
This is a full-time, entry level position with a schedule that would be Monday - Friday 12:00 - 7:00 and Saturday 8:00 - 3:00. The Car Wash / Lot Attendant moves and cleans vehicles, keeps the vehicles in sound working condition, and helps the Service Manager and General Manager as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
- Makes key tags for vehicles
- Cleans customer vehicles
- Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: - Must have clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Must be able to drive both an automatic and manual car shift
- Must be at least 18 years old; candidates under 21 can only have up to one moving violation
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematic skills
