Job Description
Dash Cafe in Brighton, MA is looking for one front counter person to join our team. We are located on 5 Henshaw St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.
Responsibilities
• Handle cash and card transactions using Square POS.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout your shift.
Maintaining proper stocking to ensure smooth flow of business
• General housekeeping.
• Ensure that guests have a good dining/pickup experience.
• Learn the menu and be able to help guests with allergy concerns/substitutions.
• Make basic coffee and espresso drinks.
Qualifications
• Cashier experience strongly preferred.
• Basic coffee/barista knowledge preferred.
• Flexible schedule (may include Saturdays). Must be available during peak business hours
• Food experience a big plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up 50 lbs and stay on your feet for your whole shift.
• Willing to train the right candidate who has little to no experience but is a fast learner..
• References must be available upon request.
