Wellness Research and Consulting, the world's leading authority on alternative health, is a direct response marketing company selling information, supplements, and skincare.

As a key member of the management team, the CMO of Direct Response, will lead the strategy, implementation and growth of the direct response marketing team and will use a data-driven and creative approach to significantly grow the long-term net revenue through various direct response tactics.

This individual will be comfortable developing the strategy, projecting growth by channel and managing the Direct Mail, Email, Newspaper, and PPC Channel Managers. You will roll up your sleeves and dig in.

You will possess significant financial, budgeting, planning experience, and a strong desire to maximize results, while managing resources, expectations, and company needs.

You will report to the Owner.

Core Job Responsibilities

· Develop and lead implementation of ambitious direct response growth starting with strategy, rolling out an extensive direct mail program and testing new methods of direct response with the goal of significant growth in long-term net revenue.

· Build on the success of the current mail and digital campaigns by utilizing data analytics and predictive modeling techniques to increase the number of new buyers, net revenue, and work toward greater vertical integration.

· Develop the strategy to grow each marketing channel through a variety of acquisition tactics, concentrating on new buyer acquisition, upsells and long-term retention.

· Develop and test a strong retention program for all direct response channels.

· Integrate effective messaging/communications across direct response platforms (Direct mail, email, online, mobile, social, etc.), coordinating closely with members of each marketing channel and with Operations.

· Experience developing and bringing new products to market.

· Collaborate with Operations to implement a strategic customer onboarding experience.

· Collaborate with designers and writers to contribute your creative vision and idea generation with out-of-the-box thinking.

• Prepare regular reports on activity and progress of goal by channel to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Deliverables

• Direct response strategy outlining plan for ambitious growth in new buyer acquisition and net revenue by marketing channel.
• Product launch strategy
• Funnel development and onboarding plan to convert leads to buyers.
• Sustainable retention program for new buyers.
