About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writerto join our logistics and compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate customs documentation for import shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and other government agencies

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file customs entries for imported goods in accordance with CBP and other regulatory requirements.
• Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and other shipping documents for accuracy.
• Classify products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and government agencies to resolve entry issues.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customs brokerage or import/export compliance.
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and ACE system.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customs software systems.
