Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Waterford, Michigan. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and organization of insurance policy information by entering data into specialized software systems. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage repetitive tasks with speed and precision.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input insurance policy details from paper documents and Excel spreadsheets into company software.
• Maintain high levels of data accuracy by verifying information before entry.
• Organize and manage large volumes of data efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and integrity of data.
• Handle repetitive tasks quickly while maintaining focus and precision.
• Update records and information as needed to reflect the most current data.
• Identify and resolve minor discrepancies in data entry processes.
• Follow company procedures and guidelines for handling sensitive information.
• Utilize typing and numeric data entry skills to perform tasks effectively.
• Support administrative tasks as required to assist the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or a related role.
• Proficient in typing and numeric data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
• Familiarity with computer-based data entry systems and software.
